DC Coffee are specialty coffee roasters for food service and retail customers. Their coffee delivers great taste at great value. 3Scoops has been working in an ongoing capacity with DC Coffee to help grow their brand.

At the time of engaging the 3Scoops team, DC Coffee were about to grow their distribution footprint in a big way, rolling out across Coles stores nationally. To support this, a freshening up of the brand’s positioning strategy was required. Extending from this was a fresh take on their digital presence with a revamped social media presence and a new website with the ability to sell their coffee via subscription.

 

The Solution

3Scoops worked with the DC Coffee Management team to articulate their unique positioning in the crowded and iconic Australian speciality coffee market. The brand is about fueling individual expression every day, so 3Scoops set out to make this a reality. Through collaborations with like-minded brands like EA Firemonkeys, to seeding the product with impactful brand ambassadors, to commissioning amazing artists for custom blends, each activity has given an opportunity to tell stories through video content and compelling design.

3Scoops also transformed DC Coffee’s approach to their digital offering with a Shopify site featuring online sales and subscriptions generating 5x more revenue than previous. Supporting this was a more curated and strategic approach to the brand’s presence across social media, also managed by 3Scoops.
